Isabel was Founding Chair of Famous 5 Ottawa, the group that worked to place the Women Are Persons! Monument on Parliament Hill and the Famous 5 on the $50 bank note. Isabel currently chairs the highly successful Enbridge Famous 5 Luncheon series, honouring Canadian women as Nation Builders.

In 2011, Famous 5 Ottawa launched the Norton Rose Mentorship Program to coach and mentor young women, provide them with speaking opportunities during Famous 5 Luncheons, at events and during outreach at area high schools.

Famous 5 Ottawa believes that everyone can be a Nation Builder. Educating and inspiring women through the luncheon series, outreach programs and education about the importance of the Persons Case to Senate Reform and constitutional change, we encourage ordinary women – like the Famous 5 – to make extraordinary contributions.
